Welcome: Faith Lutheran Church would like you to welcome to join us for the Divine Service, Christian Education, and various activities. We provide liturgical worship services filled with the Word and Sacraments.   We provide Christian Education based on the creedal beliefs of the Lutheran Confessions.  And we view ourselves as a family, offering activities for young and old.

Liturgical: we believe, teach and confess that God serves His Church in Gospel & Sacrament through the historic, biblical liturgy of the church. The chief liturgy of the church is the Divine Service, celebrated every week on Sunday mornings.  We also gather together on Wednesday evenings during Advent and Lent and on special occasions like Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday - all using a setting of the Divine Service from the Lutheran Service Book.

Creedal: We believe, teach and confess that the Holy Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and subscribe unconditionally to all the symbolical books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a true and unadulterated statement and exposition of the Word of God.

We accept the Lutheran Confessions as articulated in the Book of Concord of 1580 because they are drawn from the Word of God and on regard their doctrinal content as a true and binding exposition of Holy Scripture and as authoritative for all pastors and congregations of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.  A concise summary of our beliefs can be found in Dr. Marin Luther's Small Catechism.

Sacramental: We believe, teach and confess that the Holy Spirit works through the means of grace (Holy Baptism, Holy Absolution, and the Sacrament of the Altar) to give sinners forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.

Holy Communion: In, with and under the bread and the wine, we receive the true Body and Blood of Jesus. St. Paul writes, "Anyone who eats or drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself," (1 Corinthians 11:29). The Bible also teaches that communing together is an expression of our unity in Christ (1 Cor 10:16—17, Acts 2:42).  Because of this, we ordinarily celebrate the Lord's Supper with those who are communicant members (in good standing) of a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. We hold this biblical and historic position out of love for God's Word and in care for souls.

Worship: We gather together for the Divine Service on Sunday mornings, where we strive to make use of the very best Christian liturgy and hymnody.  Our hymnal is Lutheran Service Book and hymns are accompanied by the organ.  We use various settings of the Divine Service thorughout the church year.  We also gather together for evening services during Advent, Lent and other church festivals. Our choir sings for our services on a regular basis and we also make use of special instrumental music throughout the year. Learn more about our Divine Service

Education: We offer a number of classes for all ages. Young children receive a special message during the Divine Service and are encouraged to attend an hour of learning we call Sunday School. During the summer we offer a one week Vacation Bible School (VBS) to encourage their summer learning. Adults, young and old, are encouraged to attend Bible Class on Sunday morning and a number of other weekly Bible studies. Learn more on our Christian Education page.

Activities: Faith quilters, choir, Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML), Recycled Teenagers (senior group), and Friday game night are examples of activities available at Faith Lutheran.  Visit our Activities section for more details.

Fellowship: Faith Lutheran members enjoy coffee, snacks, and a time of sharing after the Divine Service on Sunday mornings.  We also have Sunday morning brunches from time to time that includes lots of home-cooked specialties.

Join us: We would love to meet you. If you are not yet baptized, we encourage you to contact us immediately. If you are interesting in learning more about our beliefs, our pastor would be happy to set up a time to talk with you. And it you're new to the area – please join us on Sunday morning to see for yourself what a difference God's Word and Sacrament will make in your life.
