Pastor: Rev. Eric N. Andersen was born and raised in the Chicago area, is married, and has two children. Originally introduced to the Christian faith by his family through the Roman Catholic Church, he became a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in 2000 after taking adult confirmation classes. Shortly thereafter, he began his studies at Concordia University, River Forest (IL), graduating with a B.A. in 2004, having studied classical guitar, music theory, composition, and theology/biblical languages. While in college, he also served as music director for Living Word Lutheran Church in Orland Park, IL. He began his preparation for pastoral ministry at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, serving as vicar for Trinity, Utica (MI), and graduating with his Master of Divinity in 2008. He then began work on a PhD in biblical studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, before receiving the call to become Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Johnstown (CO) in 2010.
