Pastor Andersen was born and raised in the Chicago area, is married, and has two children. Originally introduced to the Christian faith by his family through the Roman Catholic Church, he became a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in 2000 after taking adult confirmation classes. Shortly thereafter, he began his studies at Concordia University, River Forest (IL), graduating with a B.A. in 2004, having studied classical guitar, music theory, composition, and theology/biblical languages. While in college, he also served as music director for Living Word Lutheran Church in Orland Park, IL. He began his preparation for pastoral ministry at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, serving as vicar for Trinity, Utica (MI), and graduating with his Master of Divinity in 2008. He then began work on a PhD in biblical studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, before receiving the call to become Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Johnstown (CO) in 2010. | ||

Janine Drenkow, a native of South Dakota, is a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. She and her husband, Grant, have resided in Colorado since 1983 with the exception of 4 years spent in The Netherlands. Over the years she has served the Lord in various capacities including organizer of a Moms and Tots bible study group, organizer of a church nursery, Jr. Youth Group leader, church music coordinator, fill-in church secretary, and as Treasurer for Faith from 2008-2010. | ||

Mary spent 8 years of her youth from 5th grade through graduation in Johnstown. Her home church was Faith Lutheran. She was confirmed by Reverend Ritchie in a class of 4 boys and herself. Ken (husband) and Mary moved back to Johnstown in 1997 and have been members at Faith Lutheran since. They have a grown son, Jeremy who is married and a grown daughter, Amber who is also married. They have a total of 5 grandchildren. Mary was a professional accountant for 25 years. After being laid off and with much prayerful consideration, Ken and Mary decided it was a good time for her to work toward the career she had always wanted to do. Mary is now working toward becoming a teacher of elementary children. Mary asks for your continued prayers as she works through this life transition. | ||

Sheree Mack, a Colorado native, is a life-long member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. She and her husband Larry moved to Johnstown in October 2007 and became members of FaithLutheranChurch in February 2008. Sheree began publishing a monthly newsletter in June 2009 in an attempt to keep the congregation informed about the many things going on in our “little church with a BIG heart”. The newsletter is available both in print and via email to subscribers on the faithjohnstown.com website. | ||
