Faith Lutheran Church is a fast-growing church in the growing community of Johnstown, Colorado. The church is made up of over 120 caring members who enjoy worshiping together, working together, and spending times of fellowship. We like to refer to ourselves as “the little church with a big heart”. Membership includes families with young children, young adults, singles, couples, working professionals, and retired people. We encourage visitors and new members to join us on Sunday mornings for worship and fellowship.
Location: Faith Lutheran resides in a new facility conveniently located only 1 mile east of I-25 on Highway 60 (3 miles west of Johnstown). Our membership spans multiple communities along the Northern Colorado Front Range including Johnstown, Milliken, Longmont, Berthoud, Loveland, Windsor, and Greeley. See a map
Worship: Our worship services are based on traditional Lutheran hymns and liturgy accompanied by organ and occasionally supplemented with more contemporary hymns accompanied by piano. Our choir sings on a regular basis with special instrumental music throughout the year. The Word of God is the basis for everything we do.
Fellowship: Faith Lutheran members enjoy coffee, snacks, and a time of sharing after the worship service on Sunday mornings. Once a month we enjoy a brunch that includes lots of home-cooked specialties. Faith Families includes activities for young families during the year. Our quilters enjoy time together every week and always welcome new members.
Education: We offer a number of classes for all ages. Young children receive a special message during the worship service and can attend an hour of learning we call Sunday School after the Sunday worship service. During the summer we offer a one week Bible School to enhance their summer learning. Adults, young and old, are encouraged to attend Bible Class on Sunday morning and special Bible Studies during the week. To learn more about being a Lutheran, contact the Pastor for the next class.
Our beliefs: Faith Lutheran is a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe we are saved by the grace of God and not by our own efforts. And we strive to lead our lives as a reflection of the love and forgiveness that God, through his son Jesus Christ, has given to us. Visit the LCMS website for more information. Read Luther’s Small Catechism for a concise summary of our beliefs.
Make a connection: We would love to meet you and your family. If you’re not yet baptized in the Christian faith we want to encourage you to contact us immediately. If you are not a Lutheran, we hope you will consider learning more about our beliefs and enroll in classes to become a Lutheran. And it you’re new to the area – please join us on Sunday morning to see for yourself what a difference Faith Lutheran can have in your spiritual life.
